At my recent presentation in Colorado Springs, an Israel partisan distributed a flyer entitled “A Critique of Alison Weir’s Book, Against Our Better Judgment (16 September, 2013).”
When I had a chance to look at this flyer, I discovered that its claims had little relation to my book/booklet. In fact, it seems fairly obvious that whoever wrote the flyer had not even read my book.
When I spoke to the man who was distributing it, he said that most of the flyer came “from the Internet.” He said that he himself had written the paragraphs at the end.
When I questioned him further, he admitted that he, also, had not read my book. He said he had “read parts of it.” I suspect that this misinformation is being sent out to pro-Israel lists and perhaps being posted on their sites.
I suggest that people read what I have written for themselves, including the voluminous footnotes at the end, before distributing foolish flyers from anonymous sources.
